Dr. Nikola Ragusa is a leading expert in glaucoma and a skilled laser cataract surgeon. He completed the prestigious seven-year program at CUNY Medical School, graduating with top honors and induction into Alpha Omega Alpha from Downstate School of Medicine. Dr. Ragusa served as Chief Resident during his ophthalmology residency at Northwell and as Chief Glaucoma Fellow at the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary. He is board-certified by the American Board of Ophthalmology and actively mentors doctors in training.
Dr. Ragusa is engaged in both academic and private practice environments. As a specialist in micro-incisional glaucoma surgery (MIGS), he has delivered lectures nationwide. His comprehensive eye care services offer tailored treatment options for each patient. Notably, he was among the first in the U.S. to offer innovative procedures such as Femto Laser Cataract Surgery, OMNI Canaloplasty, the Hydrus microstent, the Synergy Multifocal Extended Depth of Focus Lens, amongst others.
Dedicated to advancing ophthalmologic research, Dr. Ragusa has published numerous papers and served as the principal investigator on the phase 3 ARTEMIS Bimatoprost SR trial and the iCare Home tonometer study. Dr. Jennifer Diamond, OD is a Doctor of Optometry with over 10 years of experience delivering comprehensive optometric and medical eye care. She is skilled in managing a broad spectrum of ocular conditions, including glaucoma, advanced cataracts, diabetic retinopathy, and dry eye disease, while also providing precise and thorough refractive and contact lens examinations.
Dr. Diamond earned her Doctor of Optometry degree from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University and holds a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Neuroscience from Binghamton University. She has strong expertise in diagnostic imaging and interpretation, including Humphrey and Goldmann visual fields, OCT, and Optos imaging. She also has experience working with autistic and Down syndrome patients and is fluent in English with proficiency in medical Spanish, allowing her to provide accessible, patient‑centered care to diverse populations.
